Control: Importance of Feedback
Control: The Importance of Feedback
The failure of a project to achieve its goals may not be a failure of planning, commitment, resource availability or the project’s value……it may be the failure of its feedback mechanisms.
If you don't have ways to find out what is really going on or if you can't communicate how to make critical adjustments to those who need to make them, your project is toast (that's the technical term!). Without a doubt, you'll be over budget and late in delivering something that may or may not be what the project was supposed to deliver.
