Developing and Adapting Teaching Materials for Speaking

The course focuses on the issues that should be taken into account while developing/adapting teaching materials for speaking. It discusses:

1.  problems that are connected with the adaptation process;
2. what does authenticity mean?
   
3. Factors that need to be taken into account while teaching (students’
   age peculiarities, sociocultural, political or
   institutional contexts of teaching, individual abilities, preferences, learners’ language proficiency level). 
4. Speaking Suggestions.
