You can also create assignments links for work that your students complete offline—making a presentation, attending an event, creating a poster, etc. Simply turn off the file upload option to eliminate the students' file submission link and you're good to go! By setting up this link, you'll have:

1. Created a corresponding item in your grade book,
2. Created a feedback field for an assignment that students will hand in, not submit digitally,
3. Provided clear instructions (with or without an attached file), and
4. Created a link in the course calendar, if you indicate a due date.
