Gamification of education is a natural stage of development associated with the introduction of technology into ordinary life and the activation of a generation that understands the game and responds well to its mechanisms. This is how the goal of game learning is achieved - to get and learn to apply knowledge (and not go through a stage or get a good grade)

You are right. Focus on gamification is a new trend of high education. Nevertheless, gamification has always been an effective way of preschool and elementary education.

I am very supportive of the development of technology and its use in our daily lives. Moreover, I am actively mastering new tools. Nevertheless, I would like to share my concern. I agree that gamification has always been an effective way of preschool and elementary education. But are we doing everything right when we introduce the same elementary games in higher education? Certainly, training games of such a complex level as Strategy & International Business Management Simulation Game (a complex team game for training economists) are very difficult, but effective for the formation of a qualified specialist. Games of this level are developed by large teams in specialized companies. But we as educators are not capable of creating such games, we do something simpler. Maybe I put a lot of emphasis on games, and games are just part of the learning process. But sometimes I think that the tendency to simplify the educational process emasculates the value of a university education, reduces the level of a graduate, and does not teach him or her to think systematically and critically. I hope I have conveyed my concern and that you understand what I am talking about. I don't know if colleagues would agree with me.

I think that gamefication is a good way to increase students motivation. I think that gamifications is not only the usage of the games in the education but a new way to help student to be interested in learning. It is about transparent grade system and creating the feeling that the student increase its skills every class.
